All services rendered are subject to the General Conditions of the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders (NSAB 2000). Under these conditions our liability for loss of, deterioration of or damage to goods is limited to SDR 8.33 per kg and our liability for delay is limited to the amount of the freight, but not exceeding SDR 50,000 per order. In connection with storage, the freight forwarder's total liability for damage is limited to SDR 500,000 for any incident of damage occurred (clause 27). Special attention is directed to the stipulations that claims against the freight forwarder are statue-barred after one year (clause 30) and that the lien on goods (clause 14) applies to both current and previous claims. Claims for freight etc. must be honoured regardless of the terms of delivery under the contract of sale or freight agreement (clause 10).
In case of loss or damage visually detectable this most be notified immediately upon receipt of the goods. In case of loss or damages not visually detectable written notification should be given within 7 working days from delivery of the goods – thus consignee has the obligation to show evidence (CMR §38).
Insurance We typically recommend to insure the goods and should be pleased to make you an offer.

Provided free and unobstructed transport at both pick-up and delivery. For full loads standard accepted time consumption is 1 hour at loading and 1 hour at unloading, if either one takes longer additional cost might apply.
Timed pick-up and/or delivery where the freight forwarders limitations of responsibility as per the CMR-legislation is overruled is not accepted by Fastlane ApS.
Prices is only valid for hazardous goods, highly taxed goods and temperature vulnerable goods, when it is explicitly says so in our quotation/order that these types of goods are the ones dealt with.
Prices are exclusive of VAT, import duties and similar.
Prices are based on currencies and surcharges on the date of issue of quotation. We reserve the right to adjust prices in case the market cost changes or in case new legislation having an impact is implemented.
For sea freight and air freight we invoice surcharges (fuel, currency, safety, etc.) and values in foreign currency at valid rates on the closing date for vessel / plane.
We reserve the right to invoice costs forced upon us from 3rd party while we carry out a transport, for instance costs from customs control or related hereto.
Packing & Marking
All goods to be packed for international transport and it should be possible to ship it consolidated with other goods. All items to be clearly marked. Shipper or client is responsible for damages and costs owing to wrongly marking and or packing.
Exchange of Pallets
The exchange of pallets has basically ceased to exist. Pallets should be understood as part of the packing material and thus part of the contractual agreement, between buyer and seller of goods in question.
Signed Freight Notes
We do not sent signed freight notes by automatic as guarantee the delivery has taken place.
Loading / Unloading
As standard loading and unloading is the responsibility of shipper and consignee. Should tail gate / pump truck, crane or similar be required it should be clarified up front before the transport is processed. Normally these services add to the cost. Should access to the loading or unloading point require smaller vehicle than an export dry van trailer (artic, length of truck + trailer: approx.. 16,5 m ).

Export and/or import procedures offered includes max. 2 off tariff numbers if not specified any different.
